Jon Schaffer’s PURGATORY: The band that later became ICED EARTH, one of the longest running and most legendary US metal bands of all times!
ICED EARTH’s mastermind Jon Schaffer teamed up with PURGATORY’s original singer Gene Adams (also vocals on ICED EARTH’s debut album), Mark Prator (drums on “The Dark Saga”), Jim Morris (owner of the infamous Morrisound Studios) as well as Bill Owen and Ruben Drake to re-record five PURGATORY songs written in 1985/1986.
Real classic US Metal with an 80s vibe and an up-to-date production.
